Research area

I am a hydrologist interested in mountain hydrology and glacierized catchment hydrology. My work focuses on glacio-hydrological controls on streamflow variability and how climate change is affecting our water resources. My research interests include:

  • Glacio-hydrological modelling
  • (Long-term) streamflow observations of glacierized catchments
  • Role of glaciers in controlling downstream hydrology: glacier compensation effect and changes in melt magnitude and timing
  • Drought and low flows
  • Mountain water towers
